So far, our membership consists of Christian homeschoolers in the Aledo, Willow Park, and their surrounding communities. However, we welcome any Christian homeschooling families who wish to take part.
We formed this group in order to try to provide a support group for homeschooling families in these areas. Currently, there are large support groups meeting in Weatherford and in Benbrook. While these groups are excellent, they are also a bit of a drive for homeschoolers in Aledo and Willow Park to make regularly.
Our thoughts were that our children should be able to make friends with other homeschoolers in their own community. And due to the generosity of First Baptist Church of Willow Park, we have been able to secure a facility to hold our quarterly family fellowships in on a regular basis. Our regular weekly play dates are usually held at local area parks.
We look forward to growing a wonderful, supportive Christian group that can enable us to build meaningful relationships with others who share our educational philosophy: homeschooling. |
